Ganesh
2017- Ganesh is probably the most well-known God when thinking of India. It is seen everywhere. Sign of prosperity and good omen for shops and everything new, Ganesh is worshiped well. His story is very interesting, mainly the one about how he came to have an elephant head.
I loved making this drawing, it really came flawlessly. I loved the reserach process and learnt a lot about why he carries this and that in his hands. Everything holds a signification, but we tend to forget, or to not be taught what specific gestures and things mean.
